• • Name given to the fruit of <Spondias purpurea>. This is a tree that reaches a height of 12 meters. Its flowers are small and red or orange in color. The fruit has an oval shape with a small amount of pulp, a large seed and a sweet-sour taste. The fruit is also known as <biadxi gui'xhi'>. Some elderly people call this fruit <biaachi>, but others use this name to refer only to the fruit of the thorny tree Olacaceae <Ximenia americana>.
