• • Rue. It is considered to have medicinal properties for the treatment of the ailment known in Spanish as <alferecía>. Symptoms of this ailment includes sores inside the mouth and convulsions. To treat this ailment, the rue is crushed and fried along with garlic. The pulp is rubbed into the sores of the mouth. The oil is given orally, one teaspoon once a day before taking a bath or shower.
