Word senses:
xiga be
Long, narrow bowl made from calabash fruit and used for serving liquids. Small ones are used for serving broths made from iguana, armadillo, rabbit, or chachalaca bird which are cooked in small pans. Larger ones are used for serving the cornflour drink called <atole> and broths cooked in large pots such as beef, chicken, or fish broth.
