The totoeaa is a baby fish. We see them when they swim close under the surface causing little waves. These baby rabbitfish are very frequent. We scoop them up with the kakavei net that they make from a piece of cloth when they cut it off from the mosquito net. When the totoeaa is big, we call it Maraahiri (rabbitfish).
