    • Green herbaceous plant with fine hairs (pubescence) that upon contact embed themselves in the skin and cause itchiness. It is not eaten by humans nor is it used for animal feed. In fact, it can cause constipation and even death if cattle eat it without plenty of water. Some people refer to this plant in Spanish as <quelite> or <mata buey> (lit. bull killer), though the latter term is also documented as the name of the tree referred to in Zapotec by the borrowed name <matabuey>.
    • Hierba de hoja verde con pelos finos (pubescencia) que al tocarlas se entierran en la piel fácilmente y causan comezón. No se consume ni se da de comer al ganado. Al contrario, se considera muy peligroso para el ganado pues si lo comen sin tomar suficiente agua causa estreñimiento que puede matar al animal.
