Part of Speech | noun |
Root | siinakíriisi |
Variant Form(s) | Free Variant: anitáaki sirúuku |
Anthropology Note | Iquito oral tradition held that this individual was the ‘fisherman’ of the peccary herd, from which stems its other name, <anitáaki síruuku>, because it was he who muddied creeks when the herd arrived at them, which in perspectivalist fashion, was understood to be the leader using <nuúruu> (‘barbasco’) to fish, so that the rest of the herd could eat fish |
